Before, we briefly discussed how to install agricultural pumps. Click here to <view the article>.
1. The position of the pump should be as close as possible to the water source to reduce the suction stroke; at the same time, the soil should be hard and the foundation should be solid to prevent collapse, and the installation position should be easy to disassemble and repair.
2. If the pump is directly connected to the power unit, the two should have a common base, and the pump shaft line should be horizontal and in line with the axis of the power machine.
3. When driving with belt, the axis of the pump should be parallel; the center distance of the two shafts should not be less than 2 meters when the belt is driven, and the tight side of the flat belt is below, the loose side is on, to increase the angle of the flat belt and reduce the slippage. To improve transmission efficiency; the transmission belt should be provided with a protective net or protective cover.
4. The entire inlet pipe should gradually rise along the direction of the water flow, and no point should be higher than the water inlet of the pump; the inlet pipe must not have a raised portion to prevent air from remaining in the pipe and reduce work efficiency.
5. The diameter of the inlet pipe can be larger than the diameter of the inlet of the pump, but at the inlet of the pump, a conical eccentric tube is used, and the eccentric portion is facing downward to avoid air retention and form a gas barrier.
6. If there is an elbow when the inlet pipe and the pump are connected, the elbow should not be close to the water inlet of the pump to avoid uneven water flow and reduce the pumping efficiency; the radius of the elbow should be slightly larger, and the elbow should be sandwiched between the elbow and the pump inlet. Straight pipe or cone pipe, the length of the straight pipe should be 2-3 times of the pipe diameter.
7. The elbows and joints should be installed as little as possible on the inlet pipe to reduce hydraulic loss; all joints of the inlet pipe must be tight and airtight.
8. The lower end of the inlet pipe of the centrifugal pump should be immersed in water for more than 0.5 m; the inlet of the axial pump should be immersed in the water 1.0-1.5 m to avoid the formation of eddy currents in the water surface at the inlet, which affects the continuity of the pump operation.
9. The distance between the inlet of the axial flow pump and the bottom of the inlet pool is preferably 0.5 times the diameter of the inlet. When the sediment at the pool is loose, the distance is 1.0-1.5 times the diameter of the inlet.
10. If the inlet pipes of several pumps are pumped at the same place, the center distance of the inlet should be twice the diameter of the inlet, and the distance between the centerline of the pipe and the wall should be double the diameter of the inlet. Keep it spacious so as not to catch water.
11. The entire outlet pipe should be reliably supported to withstand the weight so as not to cause the displacement of the unit or the connection of the pipeline due to vibration.
