Aviation Plant Protection Alliance Sets Up Agricultural UAV Drone Testing Center

In recent years, with the acceleration of land circulation and the aging of the rural population, the issue of plant protection has become a shortcoming of China's agricultural modernization. Aviation plant protection, as an important means of modern plant protection, has the characteristics of high operation efficiency, water-saving and medicine-saving, and wide application range. However, due to the lack of industry standards, the agriculture UAV drone industry is mixed, which seriously affects the healthy development of the entire industry. The National Aviation Plant Protection Science and Technology Innovation Alliance (Aviation Plant Protection Alliance) expert committee and agricultural drone testing center platform was established in Anyang, Henan, which will provide support for the establishment and implementation of plant protection drone industry standards. Industrial development issues need to be resolved urgently.

Agriculture UAV drones, as the key technology to solve the entire mechanization of crops, are an important carrier for the further release of rural labor, but they face three major problems in the development process:

First, legitimacy. The use of agirculture UAV drone as a tool for the control of crop diseases and insect pests is still new in China, with weak technical support and a lack of widespread social recognition, especially the lack of industry leaders.

Second, industry standardization. At present, aviation plant protection standards are lacking, and good and bad are inseparable. A standardized, orderly and fair development environment is needed.

Third, the agriculture UAV drone industry convergence effect. China has 1.8 billion acres of arable land, and it will breed hundreds of billions of aviation plant protection industry markets in the future. The huge market cake needs to start from China's basic national conditions and rely on its respective advantages to jointly promote the healthy development of the industry.
