Last summer, the wheat harvest machine in Shandong Province was completed, harvesting 56.52 million acres of wheat, the machine yield was 98.3%, and 38.9 million acres of corn were planted, and the machine sowing rate was 96.8%. There are five main characteristics:
First, there are many agricultural machinery in battle. A total of 6810 self-propelled wheat combine harvesters were added this year, of which 5,952 were wheat combine harvesters with a feed volume of more than 5 kg. During the three summer period, the province has accumulated more than 3 million sets of various types of equipment, including 170,000 wheat combine harvesters and 200,000 corn seeders. Intelligent and precise agricultural machinery and equipment and large-scale grain drying machines began to be applied in various places during the three summers.
Second, wheat harvest progressed quickly. Various regions actively strengthened the scientific dispatch of machinery, vigorously promoted the ordering of agricultural machinery, and the organization and scale of agricultural mechanized production increased significantly. In addition, the relative maturity of wheat maturity, the province ’s wheat has been harvested since June 5, and it has basically been harvested in only 14 days. After the completion, more than 6 million acres were harvested for 5 consecutive days, 1-2 days faster than last year. At the same time, the quality of wheat harvesting has improved compared to previous years, not only the net harvest, but also less losses.
Third, Straw utilization measures are implemented. Local governments vigorously promote the chopping and returning of wheat straw and collecting and bundling straw, encourage the installation of straw chopping and returning devices on wheat combine harvesters, and actively guide farmers to implement the comprehensive utilization of straw, and the occurrence of straw burning is strictly prohibited. Linyi, Qingdao, Zaozhuang, and other municipalities have earmarked special funds to provide an operating subsidy of 15-25 yuan per mu for chopped straw and return to the field, and some counties and districts have provided matching funds to provide a cumulative subsidy of 10 yuan per mu. Liaocheng, Linyi, Qingdao, Weifang and other cities have also explored the use of straw as raw materials for papermaking and power generation for bundling and utilization, with an additional income of more than 100 yuan per acre of straw.
Fourth, the quality of corn machine sowing is high. Various regions vigorously promoted the "one-stop" operation mode of wheat harvesting, straw returning to the field, and no-tillage corn stubble sowing to shorten the operation time, speed up the progress of maize sowing, and improve the quality of corn sowing. Rotary scoop single seeder, air suction seeder and other advanced domestic and foreign advanced seeders have been gradually applied in various places, and new agricultural mechanization technologies such as slow-control fertilization and simultaneous seed-fertilization have been effectively promoted. Localities also pay attention to the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy and good opportunities and good methods to guide farmers to change the traditional planting mode, regulate the planting distance and row spacing of corn machinery, and unify the operating standards to lay a solid foundation for autumn corn harvest.
