Mainly check whether the blade is intact, whether the blade is firmly fixed, whether the center line of the moving blade and the fixed blade are overlapped, and whether the gap between the blade and the blade press is correct. The cutter blade is divided into two types: smooth blade and serrated blade. The movable blade is a serrated blade and the fixed blade is a smooth blade.

The maintenance of the farm corn combine harvester cutter mainly includes:

① Check whether the blades of the farm corn combine harvester are dull or damaged. In order to reduce cutting resistance, blunt or damaged blades should be replaced in time. When the cutting edge of the movable blade is worn to 0.15 mm, the tooth height is less than 0.5 mm, and more than 3 consecutive teeth are missing, a new blade should be replaced. The serrated movable blade is generally only replaced without repair. The smooth-blade fixed blade can be sharpened with a grinding wheel after the blade is blunt and the cutting edge exceeds 0.3 mm. When the blade width is less than the width of the blade guard, it should be scrapped. Note that the rivet head must be correct and stable when riveting. The top surface of the fixed blade should always be kept on the same plane.

② Check whether the cutter bar of the farm corn combine harvester is bent, deformed or broken. For the curved cutter bar, you can place it on the board and hit it with a hammer until the cutter bar is straight. The broken cutter bar can be repaired by welding, and the welding joint after welding the cutter bar should be filed flat.

③Check the gap between the fixed blade and the movable blade of the farm corn combine harvester. The gap should be within 0.3-1 mm, the front end should not be greater than 0.5 mm, and the rear end should not be greater than 1.5 mm. This gap can be adjusted by correcting the installation position of the blade guard.

④Check the blade press of the farm corn combine harvester. The blade press should not be overly pressed. There should be a gap of 0.1~0.5 mm. The standard is to push the knife bar freely by hand. The gap adjustment can be achieved by hitting the blade press with a hand hammer.

⑤When the movable knife is in the left and right extreme positions, the center of the movable blade and the fixed blade should be coincident, and the deviation should not be greater than 5 mm. When adjusting, the hollow crowbar can be used to pry the blade guard laterally or adjust the length of the connecting rod to solve the problem.
