The maintenance of the reel of the farm corn combine harvester mainly includes:

① Check the high and low positions of the reel. Put the reel to the lowest position, the spring teeth should not touch the cutter and header auger;

②Check the front and rear positions of the reel. There should be a proper gap between the reel's spring teeth and the cutting auger's rotating blades. Under the premise of no collision, the shaft should be located directly above or slightly forward of the cutting knife.

③Adjust the speed of the reel. When harvesting corn, the peripheral speed of the reel should generally not exceed 3 meters per second, and the principle is that the corn ears are not repeatedly hit and the corn stalk scales are not pushed forward.

④Adjust the angle of the reel's spring teeth. The spring teeth of upright crops should be perpendicular to the ground, and the spring teeth can be adjusted backward by 10o~30o when harvesting fallen crops. To harvest high-density crops, the spring teeth can be tilted forward. Under normal circumstances, it is advisable to tilt the spring teeth back about 10o. Deal with the eccentric web before work. The 3 rollers are lubricated to make them rotate flexibly; otherwise, the reel will be unstable and the stable plate will be worn seriously.
