The purpose of well drilling rig is mainly to develop groundwater resources, such as domestic water, agricultural water, and industrial water. Well drilling rig is also suitable for projects such as hydrogeological exploration, construction engineering, and bridge foundation drilling.Considering the factors of applying drilling rig equipment, it is best not to carry out drilling work during the rainy season.

1. The rainy season shall be avoided in the well drilling rig project, and the smooth drainage shall be ensured at the construction site.

2. During the well drilling rig excavation work, the excavation slope should be determined according to the physical and mechanical properties of the soil layer, generally 1:1.5, and there must be a certain distance from the toe of the spoil slope to the top of the excavation.

3. For large wells with water inflow from the well wall, the well wall water inlet holes and filter layer must be laid out according to the design requirements, and the water inlet holes should be prevented from being blocked during well drilling rig construction.

4. The filter material enclosing fill of the aquifer should meet the requirements, the backfill must have a certain super height, and the frozen soil content in the backfill in winter should not exceed 15%.

5. After the well is completed, a pumping test should be carried out. Generally, only one large-descent pumping is performed, and the water level is stable for no less than 8 hours. At the same time, the dynamic water level of the well and the water flow rate of the well are measured.

6. For large wells with water at the bottom of the well, the thickness of the filter layer and the particle size of the filter material should be constructed in accordance with the design requirements, and the bottom mud and sediment must be removed before the filter layer is laid. The filter material should be sieved to remove sludge and measured for use.
